Boys dresser – Whether you just bought a vintage wooden dresser or you want to update an existing paint is available that will fit your needs. Paint a boys dresser, prepare your work area. Place a dust sheet or newspapers on the floor and place the dresser upstairs. Remove hardware from the drawers. Keep the hardware in a safe place, protected from the paint. Remove drawers from the dresser. Start grinding dresser with 80- to 100-grit sandpaper. Alternatively, you can buy or rent an electric sander. Use a piece of sandpaper to the territories as an electric sander cannot reach. Sand the surface two or three times with sandpaper or the electric sander. Switch to a 150-grit sandpaper and sand dresser. This will smooth the surface and prepare the area for paint application.

Remove dirt with a tack cloth or a hand vacuum. Before applying the primer, make sure that the dresser is free of all sand particles. Spray a thin layer of primer on boy’s dresser. Let the primer dry for about one hour. Consult the label on your can of primer to the manufacturer’s recommended drying time. Sand trays while the primer on your a boys dresser dryer.

Apply a second coat of primer to the dresser and drawers. Let it dry for about one hour. Repeat as needed. Sand any rough areas before applying the final coat of primer. Apply a second coat of paint to your a boys dresser and drawers with a brush to add texture. Paint in the direction of the grain on the boy’s dresser. Apply as many thin layers as necessary to achieve the desired effect.  Let the paint dry overnight before putting the hardware and insert the trays back into your chest.
